A photo library and carousel builder for Instagram and TikTok

Carrousl is a consumer app for organizing photos and building carousel posts for Instagram and TikTok.

Jean-Philippe Trinh built it in a little over three weeks with Claude Code connected to the WeWeb MCP.

The frontend, backend, auth and database all run on WeWeb, self-hosted on Cloudflare, with Cloudflare R2 for storage, a self-hosted Imgproxy for image processing, the Claude API for image descriptions and auto-tags, Stripe for payments and Resend for email.

When you sign up, you can:

• Upload images to your library and export them whenever you need
• Get suggested tags and an auto-generated description for every image, or add your own tags
• Reframe images and change aspect ratios without leaving the app
• Organize your library into folders and posts, and move several images at once with bulk select
• Rearrange the images in a post by drag and drop
