Custom software, as a service
Built for your business. Run like a service.
Software made for the way your business works, without hiring a team to build it or keep it running.
Custom
Built for how your business works.
Web apps, websites, AI agents, and connections to the tools and data you already use. Your list has no limit, you set the order, and your plan sets how much gets done at once.
As a service
Hosted, maintained and checked every month.
Hosting on Scale+, fixes when something stops working, and a written health check on security and performance every month. One monthly plan, with no quotes or change orders.
From one company
Platform, AI and engineers, all WeWeb.
Your software runs on WeWeb, is built with WeWeb's AI, and is looked after by WeWeb engineers. When something needs fixing, in your app or in WeWeb itself, it's ours to fix.
Nobody between you and the people who make WeWeb.
Usually, software and the people who build on it come from different companies. When something breaks, it's unclear whose problem it is.
The usual setup
WeWeb for Businesses
WeWeb: one company
Your software, our platform, our AI and our engineers. One company answers for all of it.
How it's delivered
By an engineer inside WeWeb.
Your Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) is a WeWeb engineer assigned to your company. They work with you remotely, inside your WeWeb workspace and a private Slack channel we open for your team.
Inside WeWeb
They see your app from inside the platform.
Your FDE sees WeWeb's own logs and monitoring for your app. If something's wrong in WeWeb itself, they fix it or take it straight to the engineers who can. They test your app against new releases before they ship, and you get new features early.
For the life of your app
The people who build it keep it running.
The same FDE builds your app and looks after it, on Build and on Run. If they're away, another WeWeb engineer handles anything urgent. If they leave WeWeb, a new FDE takes over, with a handover from your FDE.
Advice and access
All of WeWeb, when you need it.
Your FDE advises you on tech and AI decisions, even outside WeWeb, and can bring in anyone at WeWeb, up to our CEO. Your needs go straight to our product team: a seat at the table, though we can't promise what gets built.
How it works
One call, then a list that keeps moving.
Your FDE works with you in a private Slack channel, where your list is pinned.
Book a call.
Tell us about your app and what you need. We check it's a good fit and confirm when your FDE can start, before you pay.
Meet your FDE.
A kickoff call. You invite them to your WeWeb workspace, and we open a private Slack channel for your team. Already have an app? Their first health check doubles as the handover.
Fill your list.
Anything that's part of your WeWeb app, or needed to make it work, can go on it. You set the order.
Check in and approve.
On Build, every two weeks: what went live and what's next. You approve new work before it goes live.
Switch as you go.

How capacity works
Your list has no limit: anything that's part of your WeWeb app, or needed to make it work. How far it moves each month depends on how complex the work is, so we don't promise dates.
Run
Fixes, how-to help and small changes. No build capacity.
Build
Your FDE works through your list, in your order.
Instead of dates
At every check-in, your FDE shows you what went live and what's next, and flags anything big or uncertain before it starts.
If your list grows faster than Build can handle, your FDE tells you. You reorder it, or add capacity from next month.
Nothing new goes live until you approve it. Fixes go live right away, and your FDE tells you what changed.
Your check-ins are part of your plan. Fixing something that stopped working never uses capacity.
Need to move faster? We'll size more capacity on the call.
On Run. There's no build capacity. Your FDE fixes what breaks and answers your questions. If a change is small, your FDE will often just do it. If it's bigger, they'll suggest a month of Build.
What's in and out of scope. If it's part of your WeWeb app or needed to make it work, it's in. If it would still exist without your WeWeb app, it's out. Advice is broader: ask your FDE about any tech or AI decision.
Your own infrastructure. On Build, your FDE deploys your app wherever you choose. On Run, you deploy it yourself. Keeping that infrastructure running is yours.
Your app and your data
WeWeb's back end by default. Yours if you have one.
We build on WeWeb's own back end. Already on Supabase, Xano or Airtable? Keep it: your FDE works inside it, and suggests moving to WeWeb's back end only when it would help. Host on WeWeb Cloud, or have your FDE deploy your app wherever you choose.
Your region.
With WeWeb's back end on WeWeb Cloud, your back end and database run in the region you choose. Your front end is deployed in the US and served worldwide.
Scale+ hosting on both plans.
WeWeb Cloud's top hosting plan, on AWS, with staging, versioning and unlimited production backups.
Your own PostgreSQL.
With WeWeb's back end, every app is isolated, with separate databases for editor, staging and production. On Supabase, Xano or Airtable, your data stays in your own account.
Access you control.
Your FDE works with the access you give them. Their access to your WeWeb workspace is logged, and you can remove it at any time.
No training on your data.
The AI providers your FDE uses don't train on your data. Our data processing agreement covers FDE access.
Take everything with you.
Export your app whenever you want, including WeWeb's back end and database if you use them. No exit fees.
Your app and data are yours from day one.
Security questions, answered →Before you ask
Questions, answered.
Is it really unlimited?
Your list is. You can ask for anything in scope, as often as you like. What your plan limits is capacity: how much your FDE works on for you at once. How far your list moves each month depends on how complex the work is. If you need to move faster, we can add capacity.
How do I ask for things, and who decides the order?
Add them to your list, which is pinned in your Slack channel. You set the order, and your FDE works from the top. You can reorder it any time.
Is my FDE dedicated to me?
No. Your FDE works with a small number of companies, and we cap how many each FDE takes on.
What if my FDE is away, or leaves WeWeb?
If they're away, another WeWeb engineer handles anything urgent. If they leave WeWeb, we assign a new FDE, and your FDE hands your app over to them directly.
Can you look after an app you didn't build?
Yes. Your FDE starts with a health check, included in your plan, which doubles as their handover.
Can I switch between Run and Build?
Yes, month to month, and you keep the same FDE. Changes take effect at the start of your next month.
Who owns the app and the code?
You do. Everything is built in your own WeWeb workspace from day one, and the work your FDE does for you is yours. You can export everything whenever you want, with no exit fees.
What happens if I cancel?
Your app stays live: on standard WeWeb plans if it runs on WeWeb Cloud, or where it is if it runs on your own infrastructure. You get a written handover note in your workspace.
Do you offer an SLA?
Not on these plans. Contractual commitments such as uptime are part of WeWeb Enterprise.
How is my data handled?
Your FDE works with the access you give them, and their access to your WeWeb workspace is logged. They only use live production data when a task needs it, and say so in your Slack channel. You enter passwords and API keys directly in WeWeb, never in Slack. The AI providers your FDE uses don't train on your data, and our data processing agreement covers FDE access.
Are you SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certified?
Not today. The answers on this page describe exactly how your data is handled, and our data processing agreement is published.
What's in the small print?
Plans are monthly, with a one-month minimum. Changes and cancellations take effect at the start of your next month. We don't refund partial months.
Your start date depends on FDE availability. We confirm it before you pay.
On WeWeb Cloud, usage above Scale+'s included allowances is billed at standard WeWeb Cloud rates. Extra apps and seats are billed at standard rates.
Third-party costs are yours: domains, external services and APIs, the AI models your app's agents use, your Supabase, Xano or Airtable plan, and your own infrastructure. The AI your FDE uses while building is included.
Visits are available on request on Build. Your FDE's time on-site uses your capacity, and travel is billed at cost, agreed in advance.
Tell us what your business needs. We'll tell you when we can start.
One call to check it's a good fit. Monthly plans after that.
Run and Build both start here
