🎨 A redesigned editor for full-stack apps

Release date:
April 8, 2026

We’ve rebuilt the WeWeb editor around three dedicated tabs: Interface, Data & API, and Settings.

The goal is simple: to help you build full-stack apps in one place with more clarity, more control, and less friction:

🧩 Interface tab: design and build your frontend

The Interface tab brings together all frontend tools into a dedicated, focused workspace, now clearly separated from backend and project configuration.

So that you can design, iterate, and refine your interface faster, without distractions.

Start building your interface in a way that fits your workflow:

  • Generate with AI → Generate layouts, refine sections, and then switch to visual editing to adjust every detail.
  • Import from Figma → Turn your Figma designs into polished UI faster.
  • Build visually → Drag and drop with a library of components.

You can move seamlessly between these approaches at any time. Build visually, iterate quickly, and ship with confidence!

🗄️ Data & API tab: connect data sources and integrations

The Data & API tab is where you connect data sources and integrations.

You can:

  • Design your database with tables, relationships, and queries.
  • Build APIs and backend workflows visually.
  • Manage authentication, users, and roles.
  • Connect external services and integrations when needed.

⚙️ Settings: configure and control your project

The Settings tab centralizes everything related to your project configuration:

  • Environment variables.
  • Monitoring.
  • Project-level settings.

It's now clearly separated to give you better control, cleaner organization, and easier management as your app scales.

🔒 Everything you already use, unchanged

WeWeb Unify adds new capabilities without breaking your existing setup:

  • Your Plugins and Collections remain available.
  • You can still use external backends like Supabase, Xano, Airtable, or Google Sheets.
  • Your existing projects continue to work.

You can adopt (or not) the new structure at your own pace, whenever you’re ready.
